Recent happenings of Professor Paola Bacchetta….

Professor Bacchetta had the honor of keynoting the 30 year anniversary conference celebrating Gloria Anzaldua’s classic This Bridge Called my Back:

  • Talk Title:“Wild Tongues/Transnational Crossings: Reflections on Translating Gloria Anzaldúa into French.” at Conference El Mundo Zurdo, of the International Society for the Study of Gloria Anzaldúa. Celebrating 30 years of Borderlands/La Frontera. Trinity College. San Antonio, Texas. May 19, 2018.

Paola had the honor of keynoting the very first conference on LGBTQI Archives in Paris. She was asked to transform the talk into an article. It is now published in Friction, available online.
